Farmgate Stockfeeds is owned and operated by Mat & Tammi Logan. We are a local family, employing locals, supporting farming businesses, community and organisations throughout Western Victoria.

OUR TEAM

Farmgate Stockfeeds employs a passionate, friendly and enthusiastic team of local people who have many years’ practical experience, as well as training and qualifications in dairy farming, nutrition and agriculture. Read on to find out more about the Farmgate team.

  • Mathew Logan

    Mathew Logan

    Managing Director

    Mathew started business on the family dairy and beef farm in 1993, and now oversees the entire business operation. Mathew purchases all grains and organises freight logistics, and is also seen regularly driving our trucks or operating the mill as he fills in for staff who are on annual leave.

  • Tammi Logan

    Tammi Logan

    Office Manager

    Tammi likes to think she’s really the boss around here! Her role includes overseeing the office, organising financial requirements, ensuring Feedsafe and Quality Assurance obligations are met, conducting human resources and marketing activities, and purchasing resources.

  • Hannah Morris

    Hannah Morris

    Technical Advisor and Sales

    Hannah completed an Advanced Diploma of Agriculture and Diploma of Agronomy. She has completed a school-based apprenticeship in dairy farming and has worked as a dairy hand. Hannah is full of enthusiasm and is keen to further her work in animal nutrition, working closely with her clients to achieve a common goal.

    Freight In and Truck Maintenance

    Paul was the first staff member Farmgate ever employed back in 2001. Paul drives our B-Double truck and also maintains our fleet of trucks as he is a diesel mechanic by trade. Paul has helped us – quite literally – build the mill to what it is today. He can also operate the mill and does freight logistics when required.

    Nick has also been with us since 2005 and drives one of our quad dogs. He freights grain in daily, to help meet the mills production requirements. He will also help us with deliveries from the mill when needed.

    Gary drives our other quad dog, he also freights grain in daily, to help meet the mills production requirements. He then will help us with deliveries from the mill when needed.

  • Minnie Wines

    Minnie Wines

    Administration

    Minnie works with Farmgate three days a week with her role encompassing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, customer liaison and administrative support. Minnie has been with us since 2005, and is also actively involved in the operation of her family’s own dairy farm.

    Leigh is a very diverse maintenance person who also helps with deliveries when needed

  • Bernie Lilley

    Delivery Driver

    Bernie joined us in 2007 as our delivery driver and is still a valued member of the Farmgate team. Bernie recently stepped down from a full time position to a casual role; so that he could assist his sons with their own farming interests. Prior to commencing with us, Bernie operated his own dairy farm at Heywood and Ecklin.

    Richard is part of our delivery team, he also owns a property at Swan Marsh where he runs beef cattle.

    Production and Logistics Manager

    Emma is our little “pocket rocket”. Whilst small in stature, she manages to operate the mill and large trucks efficiently. Emma also grew up on her local, family owned dairy farm and still assists there when needed.

    Tania is 2IC in our production team, she comes from a farming background in dairying and goats.

    Mick is a member of our production team who loves dirt bike racing and spending time with his family.
